The Schuylkill River Sojourn is a 7-day, 112 mile guided canoe and kayak trip on the Schuylkill River beginning in Schuylkill Haven and ending in Philadelphia. Throughout the Sojourn, four ‘Stanley Shad’ cut-outs travelled the length of the Schuylkill  taped to kayakers’ boats. Schuylkill Action Network hosted this project to increase awareness about recreational and cultural importance of the Schuylkill River. To read about Sojourners’ experiences, click the link: http://schuylkillwaters.org/schuylkill_celebrateDetail.cfm?wsid=26
